Preserving Memories 

Ferenc Nagy's mother (Júlia Káta) was the victim of a political assassination on September 28, 1945. At the market in Pécs, Soviet soldiers wanted to take the family's horse-drawn carriage and horses from them. When they failed, they drove after them in a tank. They caught up with them in Bisse. The tank ran over the horse-drawn carriage. The prime minister's mother died at the scene.

Unfortunately, nothing has been done to renovate the grave in the past 60 years. With the support of the Dorito Film Agency, the letters were gilded by stonemason Emil Gyimesi, in memory of Prime Minister Ferenc Nagy's mother, who died a martyr's death.
